This week I wanted to take the time to let our church family know of some specific DiscipleNow items that we can all be praying for.  Our church has amazed me at the willingness to come together and get this weekend done!  I suppose when a church values something, then it shows in its level of commitment with its actions.  Here is a list of items I ask that we all be praying for:

*Our students to gain the desire to be discipled.

*Salvation to come to students who may not already know the Lord.

*Students to get focused on the most important things in life.

*Safety as we travel back and forth throughout the weekend.

*Adam Ferguson, our weekend worship leader, and the band that will be with him.

*All our volunteers: hosts, co-hosts, food people, group facilitators, etc.

*Our youth staff (youth pastor, interns, Sunday School teachers and Wednesday small group leaders) as we prepare to CONTINUE the discipleship process AFTERWARDS!

*Parents of the students who will be in attendance, that they will feel equipped to lead their teenagers in the discipleship process following DNow.

 Thank you in advance for your prayers.  Many of you have asked “how can I help?” and my answer has not always been “pray”, but this IS the #1 thing we all need, so I am appealing to you now to do that. 

 I also want to invite everyone to our general sessions.  We will be having four of these throughout the weekend.  We will have one Friday evening, one Saturday morning, one Saturday afternoon and then a big one Saturday evening.  They will include worship, drama, videos and some great teaching from the Word of God.  Everyone is welcome!
