It is a new year and you may be looking for ways to get involved or more involved in church, or you may be new to our church and want to know what is available.  Here is a list of ways you can get involved with the music and creative arts ministries of our church.   I hope that you find this useful and also find a place you would like to serve.

Sanctuary Choir -  a dynamic ministry made up of people of all ages who have a desire to assist in leading worship each week.  Our goal is to offer our best unto the Lord as a fragrant offering unto Him.  There are no auditions and you are not required to read music.  If you feel your place in ministry is music and helping lead the people of God in worship, please join us.  We meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 in the choir loft for rehearsal.  We sing at both morning services and for special holiday events.  Our theme and goal as a choir comes from Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, do it enthusiastically, as something done for the Lord and not for men.”

Sanctuary Praise Band - meets on Wednesday evenings at 6 to prepare for worship on Sunday mornings.  If you play a guitar, piano, drums, saxophone, trumpet, or any other instrument and are interested in joining this group please see me.  I would love to talk with you and see where we can get you plugged in.

Youth Choir - is made up of students in grades 6 through 12.  We meet in the choir room in the basement at 5 on Sunday evenings.  This is a fun and energetic group of teens with a passion for singing praises unto God.  There are no auditions. Please feel free to join us.

Youth Praise Band – leads worship for the youth services on Wednesday evenings.  This is a group made up of students from our youth ministry who have a passion to lead their peers in worship with their voices and instruments.  If you are interested in joining this group please contact  Jason Cox or Luke Littrell.

Children’s Choir - for children in grades 1 - 5.  They meet upstairs in the education building on Wednesday evenings from 6-6:45.  If you have any questions please contact Janelle Martin or me.  If you don’t have children but would love to help lead this group or the preschool group we are always looking for more helpers.

Preschool Choir - for preschoolers ages 3 years thru kindergarten.  This group also meets on Wednesday evenings from 6-6:45. They meet in the preschool department.  If you have any questions please contact Leah Green or myself.

Handbells - a group of very dedicated folks who meet every Sunday afternoon at 4:15 to rehearse.  They play often in our services and add to our worship experiences. We enjoyed them several times over the holidays.  This group does require that you read music.  If you are interested in getting involved please let Nancy Paul or me know.

Sound – an important part of our ministries here both in the Sanctuary on Sundays and also in the youth services on Wednesday evenings.  If you are interested in getting trained on the sound equipment and would like to help please contact me in the office.

Media Shout- another important ministry that involves the projection of the words for worship on Sunday mornings.  If you would like to get involved please contact me.

Drama Ministry – Many times a skit or a drama production will speak to the hearts of people.  The drama ministry prepares skits to help enhance the worship service and we also perform plays and work along side the choir at times for seasonal productions.  This group meets on Monday nights in the Sanctuary at 6:30.
