DiscipleNow 2012 – will be February 24-26 – if you can help in any way, please let Jason or the church office know.
The Ladies Ministry will be having a Prayer Group that will meet on Sunday evening from 5 – 5:45 p.m. beginning February 5. We will meet in the MAC building in room 606. For more information, see April Hutson.
Coupon Club – will meet Monday, January 30 at 7 p.m. in the Annex. Everyone welcome! We are also asking your help. If you throw away your coupon inserts from your Sunday papers, would you please save them for us. (We will cut them out.) We will have a box in the Welcome Center and in the office reception area.
You are invited to join others in our church family for a Coffee & Dessert Fellowship in the Annex on Sunday, January 29 following the evening worship service. The purpose of this informal gathering will be to consider ways NCBC can keep the needs of orphans before the church body and how we might minister to them. You will not need to bring anything other than an open heart and perhaps an idea to share. Coffee, tea, and desserts will be provided.
The Date Night Challenge – Friday, Feb. 10, 6-9 p.m. Two hours of fun and laughter for couples featuring comedian Jeff Allen, singer/songwriter Michael O’Brien, and best selling authors Dr. Greg and Erin Smalley. Dinner will be served from 6-7 p.m. and it’s on US! Program 7-9 p.m. Childcare is available for $2 per child to cover pizza. Visit focusonthefamily.com/datenight for event details. Daytime Women’s Bible Study – We will be offering Jonah: Navigating a Life Interrupted beginning Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to noon. This is a 6-week study taught by Linda Alford. Cost is $12.00. Sign up on the registration form if you want to take this class.
Congratulations to Jacob and Katie Creek on the birth of their daughter, Tiffany Faith on January 23. She weighed 6 lbs 5 oz and was 19 inches long. Proud grandparents are David and Renee Sherman and great-grandmother, Opal Sherman.
