Youth sponsored Benefit SingingSunday, September 15 at 6:00  p.m. in the Sanctuary. A worship event for all ages. We will have special music and congregational singing. We will take up a love offering and all the proceeds will go to the Grace to the Finish campaign. Following the singing we are hosting a soup and sandwich meal in the gym.

Offering envelopes are available during the month of September in the pew racks for the Golden Offering for State Missions. Monies from this offering help support things like Women’s Job Corp, Disaster Relief, and many other Tennessee mission endeavors.

Movie Night – Sunday, September 22 at 6 p.m. in the MAC Building. We will be showing “The Hiding Place,” the inspirational story of Corrie Ten Boom’s experience in Nazi concentration camps during World War II.

Beginning Tuesday evening, Oct. 1 at 6:30 pm we will be offering a women’s Bible study. The course is titled “Life Lessons From the Wilderness” and will be led by Mrs. Sue Brammer. There is no cost involved and, besides your Bible, no materials are required. The preliminary plan is for this group to meet in the choir room. Sign up on the registration form if you plan to attend.

Collection boxes are in the Welcome Center for items for shoe boxes. We want to pack the boxes as a group on Ministry Night on Sunday, October 13. Our goal is 50 boxes. You may bring school supplies, toys, some hygiene items, t-shirts, socks, ball caps, sunglasses, and toy jewelry. A list of suggested items is posted with the containers.

DO NOT BRING: used or damaged items; war-related items; chocolate or food; out-of-date candy; liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins; glass containers; or aerosol cans.

Sept. 15:  Mike Beavers & Shirley Boring

Sept. 22:  John & Mary Morrow
