“The Face of God”

Presented by

The Music Ministry of NCBC

Sunday, November 3, 2013

6:00 P.M.

Everyone Welcome!

This musical, arranged by Tim Paul, is centered around the heart of God for the orphans of our world. The first Sunday in November is set aside as Orphan Sunday and in honor of this, we will be taking a love offering to go to the Christian Alliance for Orphans to help support this cause.

If you are doing your own Samaritan’s Purse Shoeboxes, you have until Sunday, November 24 to turn them in. Our ministry team packed around 60 boxes on Sunday night, October 13. We are now taking donations for shipping the boxes. If you can help with this, please make sure you mark your check or put cash in an envelope clearly marked “Shoebox Shipping.”

You are invited to a baby shower on Sunday, November 3 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. in the Annex. This is for Danielle Witt who has a 3-month old foster daughter. She is registered at Target.

Chatanooga’s Ultimate Date Night – Nov. 7 from 7-9 p.m. Join First Things First for a night of music, laughter, and fun as we welcome relationship experts, Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott at the Chattanooga Convention Center. The date night is FREE but registration is required. You can register online at firstthings.org/fm/events/detail/id/306/ before the event. We will be taking the church van, but it is available on a first come basis, so if you wish to attend and ride the van, please check with Kevin Hicks as soon as possible. You will need to provide your own childcare.

Our Annual Church-wide Thanksgiving Dinner will be Sunday, November 24 beginning at 6 p.m. in the MAC Building. We will furnish turkey, dressing, rolls, and drinks. We are asking you to bring desserts, salads, and side dishes. If you plan to attend, please sign up on the registration form so we will know how much food to prepare.

Coupon Club – Mon., Nov. 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Choir Room.

Congratulations to Aaron and Whitney Sewell on the birth of their daughter, Amelia Kinsley on October 24. She weighed 8 lbs. and was 21 inches long. Proud grandparents are David and Chris Heffington. Great-grandparents are Lanny and Ann Tayloe and Gene and Katherine Heffington.
