The Sermon on the Mount: Dr. Jay – Cost: Free

A recent survey says that 61% of American Christians think that Billy Graham preached the Sermon on the Mount! Of course Jesus Himself is the author and deliverer of this beloved message. Our Savior’s words, recorded in Matthew 5-7, are poetic, relevant, organized, applicable, passionate, simple, and clear. Any person who seriously desires to know what it means to live as a righteous follower of Jesus will benefit from studying these lessons. Our time together will include scripture reading, reflection, discussion, prayer, and the singing of hymns and praise songs that reflect the various themes featured in this passage. Join us in the Sanctuary for this study.

Effective Parenting in a Defective World: Kevin & Leslie Hicks – Cost: $9.00

Raising kids is tough…but God has a plan. Raising children is a challenge in today’s world. Peers and pop culture exert a never-ending pressure on kids. Every day they are bombarded with the pressures and influences of drugs, sex, and violence. Often, parents feel helpless when the corrupt principles of this defective world seem to contradict every godly principle they try to instill in their children. In this class we will learn applicable principles, apply practical lessons, and understand simple biblical truths that you and your children can hold onto when all else fails.
