Sign up in the preschool department if you would like to take part in the Parent’s Night Out  this Friday, Dec. 13. Care and activities will be provided for children from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. See Chrystal for more information.

Racin’ for Lottie is our annual event for RAs to build racecars and get sponsors in support of the Lottie Moon Mission Offering. Everyone is encouraged to sponsor a RA. It will be on Sunday, December 8 at 3:00 p.m.

The Lottie Moon Post Office is open in the Welcome Center. You may send Christmas cards to people who regularly attend our church. All we ask is that you make a “postage” donation which will go to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and check your box regularly for cards sent to you. Our Lottie Moon goal this year is $22,500. Offering envelopes are in the pew racks. This offering goes to our Foreign Missionaries.

We will be offering the Discipleship classes from 6 to 7 p.m. on Sunday evenings during the months of January and February. This will be in place of our regular Sunday evening services. Lists of the classes and descriptions are in the front windows of the Sanctuary and in the Vestibule. Please read over the descriptions and indicate your choice on the registration form. You may call the church office if you have any questions. If you have children attending, please register them also.

The ”Build a City Party” will be Thursday, Dec. 12 at the home of David and Cheri Ellis. You may drop in any time between 6 and 9 p.m. If we can raise $1,000 we can build a house in Cambodia. Along with 39 other similar parties, we can build a city. See Jason Cox or Sarah Jo Ellis for more information. Sign up on the registration form if you plan to attend.

In Sympathy

Christian love and sympathy to…

Steve and Joan Elliott and family on the recent death of his father, Jim Elliott of Knoxville. He was also the grandfather of Jeff Elliott and Amanda Miles.

Thank You

Thanks and appreciation for all your prayers and thoughts for Steve’s recent surgery. He still has a long road to recovery but it will be easier knowing you are praying. God bless each and everyone of you. It really is wonderful having a church family like ours. – Steve and Shirley Balding
