where love is alive

If you are anything like me, you have come to the point in your life where you didn’t know how to pray for a situation. Whether it be for a parent who’s child is deathly ill, maybe a parent who has prayed to their wit’s end for their wayward child, or a spouse who doesn’t know how to pray for their marriage anymore, possibly even an illness that is infecting your body and nothing seems to help, or sadly a loved one has died and you want to know why. There are times when you don’t know what to do. You don’t know what to say. You don’t know how to pray. In those times I have found comfort in Romans 8:26. “We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.”

I praise God for His interceding spirit who goes before me to the throne room of Christ. There, I lay down at His feet and just speak His name. When all else fails, I can just speak His name and He knows my needs.

“Holy Spirit, speak the words I cannot utter.” – Julie Attaway

Thank you to all who have already made a donation to the New Hope Ministry Night project. If you haven’t donated yet and want to be plugged into a wonderful mission on March 16th, please join us in preparing baskets for mothers of babies 0-12 months old. The baby crib donation drop off is located in the Welcome Center. Suggested items are: blankets, diapers, wipes, bottles, sippy cups, wash clothes, baby wash, baby lotion, clothing, small toys, burp clothes, bibs, diaper rash cream, or anything that could fit in a medium size basket.

VBS TIME!

Yes, it’s that time again! If you are interested in teaching VBS for 4 Year-olds or Kindergarten, PLEASE let me know so that we can get a jump start on this. We also can use helpers to keep children birth through 3 years of age that belong to our VBS workers.  You may do so by signing up on the registration form.

Thank you,
God Bless
