where love is alive

It is hard to believe another school year will soon be coming to a close.  We had our first year end AWANA recognition program this passed Friday, and Sunday evening we will recognize our Girls in Action and Royal Ambassadors for another wonderful year of learning and service.  I am so blessed by these children as they come to study God’s Word, learn about missionaries and serving others, and have so much fun while doing it!  There are not enough words to adequately thank those who lead and assist in all our preschool and children’s classes.  It takes many caring hearts and busy hands to make everything happen, and I sincerely thank each one of you who play a part in our children’s ministries.  I praise God that He provides leadership in all these areas as we raise up our children to love the Lord, hide His Word in their hearts, and serve others.

VBS

Legend of the Vita Lights

will be

June 18-22

9:00 – Noon Daily

Pre-registration is available from the link on our church website. Please encourage your family and friends to take advantage of this and save time on the first day of VBS!

We are still in need of a 3rd grade leader and a 4th grade leader. Leading these classes would only involve preparing for a 20-minute Bible lesson each day and guiding the children from station to station. If you can meet one of these very important needs, please contact me or call the church office.

Orders are being taken for NCBC t-shirts.  These are used during VBS, but could be worn for other church events, as well.  They will have the same logo as the past two years (“NCBC” written vertically on the front and “Where Love is Alive” on the back.  They will be navy with yellow letters.  If you would like to order one, they are $10 each and must be paid for on or before pick up time.  The orders are due by Sunday, May 20th, and will be available for pick up by the beginning of June. There is a sign-up sheet in the Welcome Center. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Thank you for your love and support,

          Holly
