where love is alive

August is a time to focus on students heading back to school and settling into a new school year. We often see prayers guides that focus on this very subject. While our schools, administration, teachers, staff, and students very much need our prayers throughout the entire year, our church teachers, leaders and students do as well. So, during your prayer time I urge you to focus on the people and events mentioned here.
Please remember all the teachers of adults, youth, children and preschoolers as they study and share from God’s Word each week through the various classes and ministries that take place. Also, pray for our Child Development Center director and teachers as they care for and teach precious preschoolers each day. Pray for the director and teachers of Big City University as they begin a new year just after Labor Day, and our teachers here at NCBC as we minister to the Big City University students through AWANA on Tuesday evenings, and choir and missions classes on Wednesday evenings.
I think I have shared this before, but a new church year is a great time to be reminded to pray for all our church teachers and leaders. May we use this as a guide to pray throughout the church year for all our dedicated teachers who give their time and talents to share the Word of God each week through the various classes and activities we have on our campus.
