  • TIME CHANGE SUNDAY is two-fold this year! We have the yearly time change where we “fall back” one hour. However, at NCBC we will also “fall back” into our regular Morning Worship time slots at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. (with Sunday School in between!)  We hope to see you Sunday, November 1st!
  • SUNDAY SCHOOL RESUMES NOVEMBER 1st! Many Sunday School classes will resume meeting in person at 9:45 a.m. in your regular classroom. (Willing Workers and Digging Deeper classes will meet new classrooms in the Annex.)  Teachers, please contact Jason Cox for questions/concerns regarding room placement or procedures.
  • VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Preschool & Children’s Sunday School leaders and assistants are needed. If you would be interested in serving please see Holly Cox.
  • CHURCH HIKE – Has been rescheduled for Thursday, November 5th.  We will hike to Buzzard Point in Rhea County (8 miles roundtrip). We will meet at the church at 8:30 a.m. to drive to the trailhead in separate cars. Bring a sack lunch to enjoy.  See Dr. Jay for more details.
  • OCC PACKING PARTY will be Saturday, November 7th at 10:00 a.m. Come and fellowship with others as we pack the boxes we will be sending. Pizza, chips and drinks will be provided.  Also, since we have finished with collecting, we will shift our focus toward shipping cost.  It takes $9 to ship each box.  If you would like to give toward shipping, please note “OCC Shipping” on the offering envelope, or you can make checks out to NCBC and write “OCC Shipping” in the memo line.
  • 40 DAYS OF PRAYER IS UNDERWAY – If you would like to participate click the link below to view the Prayer Guide or contact the Church Office to get a booklet. Continue to join us Sunday mornings as we study the topic of prayer.

  • iWAVE DEVICES have been installed in the ductwork of all our heat/air units. As air flows past these devices, positive and negative ions are emitted.  Their presence purifies the air, killing mold, bacteria, and viruses. This ionization process also reduces allergens, smoke, static electricity, and helps control odors. We are proud to give people in attendance this extra means of protection.
  • MIDWEEK BIBLE STUDIES – We are studying “Good Women in God’s Word.” Be sure to join us for Early Risers Bible Study each Tuesday at 7:00 a.m. in the Annex  or Wednesdays evenings in the Annex at 6:00 p.m. for Bible Study and Prayer Meeting.  Videos of each session can be found online at this YOUTUBE LINK.  Download the outline for each lesson here:  Introduction – Outline.    1 – Eve – Outline.  2 – Sarah – Outline.
  • LADIES PRAYER GROUPS will meet Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m. via ZOOM and at 6:00 p.m. in the Choir Room.  If you would like to join up with one of these prayer groups, contact Barb Olson, Faye Simcox, or the Church Office for more details.
  • “THE TWELVE DISCIPLES” VIDEO DISCIPLESHIP COURSE – Dr. Jay’s Discipleship Course on the Twelve Disciples is available online!  Videos are available on this YouTube link.  Complimentary notebooks are available that include all materials for this course.
