Preschool & Children
(1st grade through 5th grade)

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

Every child is a gift from the Lord, and we strive to teach biblical truths that lay a solid foundation for them to grow in their love and understanding of God and Jesus. We desire that our time together at church is rewarding and meaningful. Our regular children’s programs include Sunday morning Bible study, preschool and children’s choir, AWANA and missions classes. We also have annual children’s activities such as Vacation Bible School, Trunk or Treat, and Easterfest.

Youth & College

The heartbeat of our student ministry is our Sunday Morning small group Bible Studies and our Wednesday night youth worship services.  From here, students are encouraged to participate in “retreat” settings such as our annual DiscipleNow Weekend (Catalyst), winter retreats and summer camps.  For our musically inclined students we offer the option of joining the youth praise team as well as the youth choir.  For students seeking deeper levels in their faith, we offer mission projects that include local missions and international missions.  We have a strong partnership with Open Eyes Ministry, located in Honduras, and we look forward to getting back there as soon as possible.

As students move into college, we offer them the option of leadership within the youth ministry.  We encourage college students to be a part of the College Sunday School small group and we also offer a College Bible Study for the students to come together, fellowship and study the Word of God.  College age students are also an integral part of our mission teams.

Adult Ministry

So that you, your children and their children after them may fear the Lord your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life.  ~ Deuteronomy 6:2

This scripture is such a great commandment to us to know the importance of making disciples. It is my prayer that our ministries geared toward adults will help them become fully devoted followers of Christ that honor Him with their hearts and not just their lips.  That our ministries will help adults know and live God’s Word and adults who make a difference for Him. Come be involved in discipleship, Bible study, and service!

  • Sunday 9:45 Bible Study – Bible Study classes for all ages assemble each Sunday Morning, led by experienced church volunteers.
  • Discipleship classes Sunday evenings at 6pm (August & Sept, Jan & Feb) – These classes feature specific topics designed to create spiritual growth in the life of the participants.

Praise and Worship Ministry

On Sunday mornings we gather for worship at 8:30 and 11:00. These services feature a blend of traditional and contemporary worship songs, as wel as a children’s sermon, an enlightening message based on scripture, and other features.

  • Sanctuary Choir Rehearsals start at 6:40 PM on Wednesday Nights.
  • Children and Preschool Choirs rehearse on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM during the school year.
  • Student Choir rehearses on Sunday afternoons at 5:00 PM during the school year.

Pastor Preaching/Teaching

Dr. McCluskey utilizes a conversational style to communicate Biblical lessons in worship each Sunday. He offers mid-week Bible studies on Tuesday mornings at 7:00 AM (September through May) and Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM (year round) in the church Annex.
